A sense of clarity.

Cinta bukan mengajar kita lemah tetapi membangkitkan kekuatan. Cinta bukan mengajar kita menghinakan diri tetapi menghembuskan kegagahan. Cinta bukan melemahkan semangat tetapi membangkitkan semangat. -Hamka

 I find strength in the lines and bars of a song, a poem, and even in a quote.

 Just when I was starting to lose hope; to feel empty again after such a long time, I opened up the box and these words appeared before my eyes;
'Cinta bukan mengajar kita lemah tetapi membangkitkan kekuatan.'

 I found my clarity, baby.

 Breaking down is the easy part. The hard part is getting back up again. There's always gonna be something that's gonna tear my soul apart. There's always gonna be something that will tear down my confidence. But to what extent am I gonna let it bother me? Will I walk away? Or will I stand tall by you, and fight along side with you?

The me that I've become to know is so much more stronger than this. And I've known it for the past 3 months, no, make that for the past 4 years; as long as I have you by my side, I'll be standing up fine. As long as I have you by my side. As long as you're by my side.

'State of Grace'

Okay, I admit. I have been spending too much time on Tumblr. I didn't mean to abandon you, baby *kiss*

So much has happened in the past two months, I don't even know where to begin.

Goodbyes

 As you all know, I went home for summer break. Bonded with my brothers and fell in love a little here and there. This isn't the first time I've gone back for summer break, but it sure did feel different during the goodbyes and hugging session at the airport. One of my brothers (the eldest) is engaged and is getting married next September. I have mixed feelings about this. So does this mean I actually have to share my brother, now? Well, I don't want to..please? Pretty please?
 My eldest brother and I aren't always on the same page. We bicker about so many things, you seriously wouldn't wanna be standing near us. But this time since I was staying at his place, we bonded over so much stuff. At one moment it actually seemed like there weren't any secrets left between us. We shared and laughed. He watched as I cried and crumbled. I watched as he picked me up and mended my bruises and scars. Its sad to know the next time I see him, I might not be able to freely do stuff like watching 2 seasons of How I Met Your Mother straight in one day. Or riding the motorcycle with him just to find that delicious Goreng Pisang stall Papa used to go to. *sigh* But its okay. I know that no matter what happens, I know he'll always have my back; even when he's married.
 One other hard goodbye session had to be with him. Its amazing how spending only two weeks with a person can give such a big impact on you. We didn't talk much on the way to the airport. Actually, we didn't really talk at all. For a moment, it actually felt like we were just letting our hearts speak for us. But it was probably for the best. Words could've possibly ruined that perfect moment we had that night.We never really uttered the words "Goodbye, take care". It was more of a simple "I'll miss you but its okay, 'cause I'll see you soon"; and I believe that's the best goodbye you could ever get.

I'm feeling 22

 I have finally grown a year older. *cringe* Then again, 22's just an age. I still go crazy over Disney movies and I still memorize the full lyrics to Little Mermaid's 'Under The Sea'. Take me to Disneyland I will still be waving like a maniac trying to get Mickey Mouse to wave back at me. Anyways, thank you everybody for the birthday wishes and for the beautiful presents. Don't worry, my cactus is still alive..I think. *cringe*

And to end off with a quote from my current obession;
"You don't know about me, but I bet you want to. Everything will be alright if we just keep dancing like we're 22" -Taylor Swift, 22

Now please, go out and get that new Taylor Swift album. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

27/8

To my person:

Even though we were once torn apart by circumstances we couldn't avoid; in the end something keeps reuniting us together. Fate, maybe? ;)

Thank you for being the best friend that has always stuck by my side for the past 4 years. Even during those times where not a single word was exchanged between us. I knew you were always by my side.

Kanpai to a new beginning for us. We will no longer be haunted by our past, but instead be happy for the present; and we will embrace the future with open arms.

'You are my best friend as well as my lover, and I do not know which side of you I enjoy the most.'

Oh well, I guess I'm just lucky I'm in love with my best friend. :)

Remember when?

Remember when Facebook was a platform where we could just catch up and spontaneously just say 'Hi, how are you?' on people's walls?

So, just out of curiosity, whatever happened to that?

I woke up today and went on Facebook just to see how my Facebook people are doing and it got really disturbing 'cause as I scrolled down I saw a lot of harsh words, anger, and a lot of slandering involved between a friend of mine and someone she knew. Obviously, they were fighting about something. Being nosy me, I just had to figure out what was going on! It didn't take long, or it wasn't really that hard to begin with considering my friend; lets call her 'A', put up pictures of the other person's; lets call her 'B', Facebook status updates and apparently one of her blog entries. And that, kind of threw me off. I mean, it seemed sassy at first but then it just turned into something so mean I just couldn't comprehend. So apparently B said something on her blog and A thought/thinks it was about her and......everything else is history.

I don't know who is at fault here but I really think A just went overboard.

Please, before you go off and attack someone like that on Facebook without any proof and evidence, just stop to think about it. You're not really making yourself look like the better person here. This hasn't really been the first time I've seen stuff like this on Facebook. Yes, its your own 'space' where you get to write/like/share everything that tickles your fancy. But still, no matter how private you make it to be, it is still a public space. And you showing people your dark side of things by getting pissed off ticked off like that really doesn't make you seem like a person I'd randomly wanna go up to and say 'Hi! How are you?'

Ladies,

 ....and to change the mood, A CERTAIN SOMEONE IS COMING HOME IN A COUPLE OF DAYS!! *fireworks*

CAN YOU FEEL THE EXCITEMENT?!!
